Gigabyte Radeon RX 6500 XT EAGLE 4G, to run any game in 1080p

Gigabyte’s version of AMD’s budget Radeon RX 6500 XT GPU, the Gigabyte Radeon RX 6500 XT EAGLE 4G, is aimed at users who want to play at 1080p. With this AMD GPU, Gigabyte is introducing a card designed for AAA and multiplayer titles. It’s an affordable design that performs well in most PC games. Less powerful than the RX 6600, it still features RDNA 2 architecture and brings all of AMD’s next-gen features to the budget graphics card segment.

Gigabyte Radeon RX 6500 XT EAGLE 4G with FidelityFX (FSR)

The Radeon RX 6500 XT EAGLE 4G comes with new features like ray tracing and Smart Access Memory. However, it’s the least suited card to take advantage of AMD’s RT features. This model supports FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) to deliver solid performance in the most demanding games. FSR is essentially an upscaling algorithm that helps maintain image quality at a higher resolution.

A GPU based on the new RDNA 2 architecture

The Radeon RX 6500 XT EAGLE 4G features 1024 stream processors and 4 GB of VRAM clocked at 18000 MHz. Since the Radeon RX 6500 XT is based on the new RDNA 2 architecture, it features Infinity Cache. There’s 16 MB of Infinity Cache on board and a 64-bit memory bus with GDDR6 memory. Furthermore, it’s the first consumer-grade 6nm GPU with 5.4 billion transistors. This has made it possible to achieve very high frequencies of up to 2.6 GHz according to AMD.

Physically, the graphics card is 192 mm long, 117 mm wide, and 38 mm thick. It takes up two slots on the motherboard’s PCI slots. For video outputs, there is 1 X HDMI and 1 X DisplayPort 1.4. The Radeon RX 6500 XT EAGLE 4G has a power consumption of 150 W. The manufacturer is promoting a lightweight and very compact product. The hardware, very quiet and well-cooled, should fit into small constructions.
