The ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend is a custom, overclocked version of Intel’s entry-level B580 graphics card. It’s a GPU with an OC frequency of 2800 MHz, a 4.9% increase over the reference version. With its adjustable RGB lighting and a three-fan cooling system occupying three slots, the card stands out for excellent heat management and a modern aesthetic. Intel optimizes the B580 series architecture by improving the efficiency of the hardware units. This makes it possible to maximize their utilization and reduce waiting times. Discover the key features of the ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend here.
ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend, improved ray tracing and artificial intelligence performance
The ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend comes with ray tracing units that are twice as powerful as the previous generation. The card integrates the latest generation XMX artificial intelligence engines. They allow the XeSS Frame Generation technology to be twice as efficient. This results in a staggering 42% increase in performance compared to the A580. It outperforms the NVIDIA RTX 4060 by 5% and outpaces the AMD RX 7600 by nearly 15%. In Full HD, this GPU offers a more than satisfactory experience on ultra settings. On the other hand, users who use 1440p displays will still be able to benefit from remarkable performance thanks to its intelligent upscaling system.
Generous VRAM memory and exemplary cooling
The Arc B580 stands out with its generous 12GB VRAM, surpassing the 8GB offered by its direct competitors. This allows gamers to enjoy optimal management of high-definition textures. This model also shines with its exceptional cooling system. It can operate at a remarkable temperature of 61°C while generating only 24 dBA. Its 5nm manufacturing by TSMC allows for controlled power consumption of 178W under full load. In addition, this model features automatic fan shutdown when the component is not under sufficient stress.
ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend, modern support for powerful 4K display
The ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend shines with its support for modern codecs and its 4K display capability up to 360 Hz. These are complemented by the promising XeSS upscaling technology. It’s worth noting that three image enhancement technologies are currently competing. There’s NVIDIA’s DLSS 3, AMD’s FSR 3 or AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, and Intel’s XeSS. Intel is developing its own technology, XeSS Frame Generation, which is currently in beta. These technologies make it possible to enable ray tracing without performance loss or to play at higher resolutions.
